Shape Up Workshop
A workshop designed for camp coordinators and counselors. Aims to help participants convey the key messages about healthy habits, get motivated to take action at camp, and take ownership of the Shape Up tools. A training session is provided to trainers at the Shape Up Summit to help them host the workshop at their camp.

The Trainer's Guide : A teaching aid to help coordinators give the workshop themselves in their camp. Workshop is accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation.
The participant booklet : A teaching aid designed to help coordinators and counselors take ownership of the key messages about healthy eating.
DAFA - Chapter 2.4
DAFA Training, Chapter on Healthy Habits Shape Up has also produced two educational tools to help facilitate knowledge sharing and take-up of the key messages on healthy habits featured in DAFA Chapter 2.4. A trainer's guide and participant booklet are available on the DAFA website DAFA.
Shape Up Training by ITHQ
The Shape Up training designed by Institut de Tourisme et d’Hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ) is aimed at summer camp cooks and managers seeking to improve their meal offerings.
- Part 1 - Training workshop
One-day theoretical and hands-on training developed by Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ) to improve summer camp menus and facilitate ownership of the tools developed.
The training given to food service managers and camp managers is held at a participating Shape Up camp.
- Part 2 - Coaching
One-day coaching provided by an ITHQ professor or consultant who goes to each camp to support the food service team in its efforts to change its practices and implement the Shape Up program.
